Devolver Digital announced Volvy's Adventure: Reslimed, a 2D action game starring its mascot character Volvy. Devolver Digital and Big Fan Games announced on August 27 that Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2, developed by Auroch Digital, will launch on October 14. Bushiroad revealed new details for Shadowverse EVOLVE at the Bushiroad TCG Strategy Presentation 2026 Summer on July 22. The presentation covered upcoming booster packs, a mini collaboration with Uma Musume Pretty Derby, and a world tournament scheduled for April 25, 2027. The booster pack "Academy Royal" is set for release on July 31, and the set "Over the Calamity," which includes cards from the 22nd card pack of the digital Shadowverse, will launch on October 2. The mini collaboration within "Over the Calamity" features Uma Musume characters Haru Urara and Oguri Cap. The abilities of the "Oguri Cap (Full Speed)" card were shown for the first time. Reprint cards from the EX collaboration pack "Uma Musume Pretty Derby" will also be included, with some cards getting special Uma Musume card frames. Shadowverse EVOLVE is a physical trading card game based on Cygames' digital card game Shadowverse, first released in 2022.
Granzella announced on July 22, 2026, that it will release a free collaboration DLC for the side-view shooters R-Type Final 2 and R-Type Final 3 Evolved. The DLC, titled R-9Aix Extra Arrow, is a crossover with City Connection's FZ: Formation Z. It adds a new player aircraft inspired by the variable humanoid weapon Ixpel from FZ: Formation Z. When the Force is detached, the craft transforms into a humanoid form that can attack diagonally up and down. When the Force is attached, it reverts to flight form and fires wave cannons and lasers similar to the standard R-9A. The DLC will be available starting July 23, 2026, at 0:00 JST on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via DMM GAMES. The release timing for PC versions sold by NIS America on Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG.com, and Microsoft Store has not yet been determined; Granzella said it will announce details on the official website and social media once decided.
Microsoft announced the Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass lineup for late July through early August 2026 on July 21. The slate includes seven titles total, five of which are day-one releases. Game Freak's new action RPG Beast of Reincarnation arrives on August 4, blending real-time and turn-based combat in a post-apocalyptic Japan. Halo: Campaign Evolved, a ground-up Unreal Engine 5 remake of the original Halo: Combat Evolved, launches on July 28 with new prequel missions, online co-op for up to four players, and additional weapons and vehicles. Other day-one titles include the cooperative horror game Shift at Midnight (July 22), the PvPvE extraction action game Mistfall Hunter (July 30), and the pirate city-building game Corsair Cove (July 31, PC only). The lineup also includes the action-adventure Hell is Us (July 23) and the enhanced FPS compilation Heretic + Hexen (August 4). The announcement also noted that Zenless Zone Zero version 3.1 on July 29 will reset login rewards for Game Pass members.
Nijisanji unit VOLTACTION will release its first full album 'EVOLVE' on October 28, 2026. Pre-orders opened July 13. The group also announced its second live, 'EVOLVE,' at Pia Arena MM on January 24, 2027. The album comes in three editions with different bonus items.
Furyu Corporation announced on July 2 that the PlayStation 5 version of Beyblade X: Evol Battle has been confirmed for release. The company also released two new DLC packs for the game on the Nintendo Store: Digital Bey Booster VOL.6 and VOL.7, which add a total of eight new Beyblades. VOL.7 is available for free until July 22 at 23:59 JST. The Steam versions of the DLC are scheduled for July 30. Alongside the DLC, Furyu launched Season Pass VOL.2, Special Blader Pack VOL.2, a Super Ultimate Pack bundling previous and current content, and a Super Ultimate Edition that includes the base game. All four bundles are offered at a 15 percent discount during a launch sale. The Steam versions of the Super Ultimate Pack and Super Ultimate Edition also include a soundtrack. The PS5 version's release date has not been announced.

Microsoft announced during the Xbox Games Showcase 2026 on June 8 that Halo Studios' remake of the original Halo: Combat Evolved, titled Halo: Campaign Evolved, will release on July 28, 2026. The game is a full remake of the campaign mode, rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5, and will be available on PC (Steam and Microsoft Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. It will also be included in Xbox and PC Game Pass from day one. The remake adds three new bonus missions under the operation name 'Operation: Meteorite', featuring Master Chief and Sergeant Johnson, with new environments, gameplay, and enemies. Nine iconic weapons from across the Halo series have been added to the arsenal. Other improvements include higher resolution, revamped cinematics, refined controls, and a completely new sound design with a remastered soundtrack. The game supports solo play and online co-op for up to four players, with cross-play and cross-progression. Japanese text and audio are planned. Pre-ordering the Premium Edition grants early access five days before launch.
