False Hero Soulslike Demo Launches on Steam, Lets Players Steal Enemy Skills
Ytopia released a demo for the soulslike action-adventure game 'False Hero' on Steam on June 5, 2026. Developed by Austrian indie studio Torchlight Studios, the game centers on a protagonist who wears a mask that allows him to steal attack methods from defeated enemies. Players can choose which skills to equip, when to use them, and how to build combos, creating a novel battle system that requires on-the-spot thinking. The demo includes Chapter 1, the introduction to the story, battles where players steal enemy skills, and two boss fights. The full version is scheduled for release on PC via Steam in fall 2026, and wishlisting is now available. The game was created by a single developer over six years, covering art, animation, code, and soundtrack.
