Fields of Mistria 1.0 Launch Adds Marriage, Japanese Beta

NPC Studio released version 1.0 of Fields of Mistria on Steam on August 6, 2026, at 1:00 AM Japan time. The farming life simulation RPG, set in the pastoral village of Mistria, adds marriage and childbirth as new endgame content. Players can now raise their relationship with any of the 12 marriage candidates to heart level 10, triggering a proposal and wedding event, and can start a family if they hold the right items. The update also adds new dungeon quests and items to customize farm and home music. Alongside the full release, a Japanese localization beta is now selectable in the in-game language settings. The developer says the translation is about 75 percent complete at launch, with untranslated parts temporarily shown in English, and plans to improve it over time based on player feedback. Early access save data carries over, so players do not need to start a new file to unlock achievements. The game is priced at 1,600 yen, with a 10 percent discount to 1,440 yen until August 14. The developer also confirmed that sales have surpassed one million copies since early access began in August 2024.

Fields of Mistria Gets Japanese Support, Full Release on August 5

NPC Studio announced on June 7 that the farming simulation RPG 'Fields of Mistria' will leave Early Access and launch version 1.0 on August 5, 2026. The full release will include a Japanese language beta, as well as wedding events, children, new Saturday Market vendors, dungeon quests, and Steam achievements. The game, which entered Early Access on August 6, 2024, has received over 25,000 user reviews on Steam with a 97% positive rating, earning an 'Overwhelmingly Positive' status. The Japanese translation is being handled by localization studios 8-4 and Shloc, who are providing a 100% human-translated beta that is expected to cover most text. Players will be able to raise NPC heart levels to 10, unlocking marriage and family mechanics that were not available during Early Access. A non-content engine migration update is scheduled for July 7 to improve performance and stability ahead of the 1.0 launch.
