Witch Training Game REKA Sets August 18 Full Launch, Adds Japanese Support
Publisher Fireshine Games and developer Emberstorm Entertainment announced on June 2 that the magical adventure game 'REKA' will leave Early Access and launch its full version on August 18. The game, which began Early Access on Steam in September 2024, centers on a young witch apprentice traveling with a walking house-a structure built atop giant chicken legs. Players customize the house by combining building parts, furniture, and decorations obtained through quests and exploration. The world, inspired by 19th-century Europe, includes forests and swamps where players help villagers, brew potions, and can choose to play pranks. The 1.0 update will add new story content, expanded building options, a UI overhaul, and Japanese language support. Shochiku Games will distribute the game in Japan. The Steam version currently holds a 'Very Positive' rating, with 82% of roughly 2,900 reviews positive. A 35% discount sale runs until June 8, dropping the price to 1,495 yen.
