The fifth film in the six-part Girls und Panzer das Finale series opens in Japan on October 9, following Ooarai's semi-final win and setting up the finals against St. Gloriana Girls' College. The film screens in Dolby Cinema, Dolby Atmos, 4DX, and MX4D.
The fifth Girls und Panzer das Finale film is scheduled to open in Japan on October 9. Bandai Namco Filmworks released the first full trailer and key visual in late June, followed by a second trailer and key visual in early September. The film is the fifth entry in a six-part series, and the two trailers establish the same story point: Ooarai advances past the semi-finals of the Winter Continuous Track Cup into a finals match against St. Gloriana Girls' College.
The matchup carries a specific detail. St. Gloriana is led by Darjeeling, and Alice has transferred onto the roster to face Miho again. The September trailer release confirmed the October 9 opening date alongside the finals framing.
The fifth film also brings the series its first Dolby Cinema screenings, with the release running in Dolby Cinema, Dolby Atmos, 4DX, and MX4D. That exhibition detail came with the second trailer and key visual.
The June trailer announcement carried one additional franchise item: a television broadcast for the Motto Love Love Sakusen Desu! anime set to start in October. No further details on that broadcast appear in the coverage.
