Godot Foundation and CRI Middleware Talk Japan Expansion at CEDEC2026
At CEDEC2026, Godot Foundation executive director Emilio Coppola and CRI Middleware senior managing executive officer Naoaki Oikawa discussed the open-source engine's growth and their partnership. CRI announced full Godot support on July 8. Coppola said Godot does not aim to compete with Unity or Unreal Engine, focusing instead on serving current users.
