Kaiyodo's Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi Adds Black & White Mazinger Z and Great Mazinger
Kaiyodo will release Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi Mazinger Z New Color Ver. and Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi Great Mazinger New Color Ver. through its online store on October 3, 2026 at 11:00. Both figures carry a price of 12,100 yen including tax and are based on prototypes by Katsuhisa Yamaguchi. Mazinger Z stands about 150mm and Great Mazinger about 160mm. The Mazinger Z figure has a movable Breast Fire panel on the chest, a Rocket Punch firing state built from detachable arms and jet effects, and parts for the Jet Scrander, Iron Cutter, and Drill Missile. The Great Mazinger figure recreates the Drill Pressure Punch, Great Boomerang, Mazinger Blade, and Thunder Break with interchangeable parts and effect pieces, plus the Scramble Dash wing and tail fins deployed from the calves. Kaiyodo lists these as part of its Amazing Yamaguchi action figure line, which uses articulation designed to hide joints from view. The release joins a separate wave of Ryu Hayabusa figures and an optional parts expansion pack from the NINJA GAIDEN series, priced at 12,100 yen and 5,500 yen respectively.
