Here U Are Webtoon Gets Anime Adaptation
Crunchyroll announced during its panel at Anime Expo on Friday that D JUN's webtoon "Here U Are" is getting an anime adaptation. The service will stream the anime in the future. The company unveiled an English-subtitled trailer and visual. The story follows Yang Yu, a university senior liked by everyone, and Huan Li, a quiet and antisocial new student. They get off on the wrong foot but are drawn to each other. The anime stars Yuki Inoue as Yang Yu and Ryota Suzuki as Huan Li. Tomoe Makino directs at Rouseact. Aiki Kawamura handles series composition, Asami Hayakawa designs the characters, and Shinya Kiyozuka composes the music. The webtoon originally debuted in 2017 and ended in 2020. Aloha Comics releases the series in English. The original creator D JUN contributed a congratulatory comment and commemorative illustration, expressing surprise at the adaptation and joy at seeing the characters move and speak. LINE Manga is running a campaign allowing free reading of chapters 1 through 20 from July 4 to August 3, 2026.
