Heroes of Hammerwatch II Adds Full Japanese Support
Team17 released a Japanese-language update for the roguelite action RPG Heroes of Hammerwatch II on October 1, adding full Japanese localization to the PC Steam title for the first time. The same patch carries balance changes, bug fixes, a new tailor NPC, and new achievements, and adjusts settings for New Game+ and class parameters, with full notes posted on the Steam Community. The game is a sequel to the 2018 Heroes of Hammerwatch and a spin-off of the Hammerwatch series, with randomly generated Dark Citadel dungeons, seven classes including Warrior, Paladin, and Ranger, permanent upgrades, and online co-op for up to four players. It is discounted 60 percent in the Steam Autumn Sale 2026 to 920 yen including tax from a regular 2,300 yen, a price that holds until 2:00 AM Japan time on October 9. A roadmap in the patch notes states a second expansion pack is scheduled for 2027.
