Pondako has released a demo for Iman, a 2D religious horror adventure drawn in 8-bit style. Set in 1990, it follows Rudy, a young man who moves to Capital City to make a living and confronts the mysticism of the land and the deception of evil beings. The demo runs about 20 to 25 minutes and includes side stories and a hidden boss. Iman is planned for release on PC via Steam.
Chiikawa Kuji will open sales for its Kurimanju Darake lottery at 11:00 on September 24, at 1,100 yen per play, running through 23:59 on October 1 with shipping scheduled to begin around late February 2027. The A Prize is a super BIG plushie holding a beer mug and flashing a peace sign, and the E Prize mascots come in six types, including Kinshu with a sobriety stamp and Futsukayoi looking pale.
Q-six is releasing a 1/6 scale figure of Anne-Rose Vajra from LILITH's Taimanin RPGX, sculpted by Norgreco with paintwork by K2 of GILLGILL. Three versions ship in April 2027 at 27,280 yen each: a standard edition, a White Sheer version, and a Lilith Store-exclusive Premium version that adds a pregnant torso part and a right hand part holding a vibrator. All three stand about 31cm.
Shochiku Games will publish Estella, a 3D music rhythm game developed by Taiwan's Imanity. Players steer an octagonal interface with mouse and keyboard while 3D effects unfold in sync with the music, a play experience the studio compares to traveling through space as a comet. Each planet is a chapter told in visual novel format. Steam early access is planned for this winter with about 40 songs. A limited demo will be playable at Tokyo Game Show 2026 from September 17 to 21.
Publisher Limansia Games announced that Setone Games' horror adventure game Sitter will launch on November 13, 2026. The game follows detective Ethan Sanders, who investigates his grandmother's murder in a mansion that changes structure. A demo is available on Steam.
Full-stack engineer Roman Imankulov was contacted on LinkedIn by someone claiming to recruit for a cryptocurrency startup. The recruiter sent a GitHub repository to review. Imankulov used an AI agent to inspect the code, which found a backdoor that would execute remote code on 'npm install'. The recruiter's profile was stolen from a real art journalist, and the repository's commit history was hijacked from another developer.
MAGI ARTS is producing 1/6 scale swimsuit figures of Adult Yukikaze and Mizuki Yukikaze from Taimanin RPGX. The two-figure set includes interchangeable face and body parts for Adult Yukikaze. Pre-orders are open at AmiAmi, with release scheduled for January 2027.
