Kenichi Suzumura

Kenichi Suzumura's coverage on the beat has moved from a health absence back to casting. His agency, Intention, announced on June 29 that he is gradually returning to voice acting after a hiatus that began in February 2026 following a diagnosis of an adjustment disorder. The return announcement named two upcoming roles: the second half of Yoroi-Shinden Samurai Troopers and the second season of Trapped in a Dating Sim.

Three months later, a casting announcement added a third project. Suzumura plays Kusabi Momoura, chief of the Momotaro Agency Kegon Falls Branch, in Tougen Anki: Nikko Kegon Falls Arc, which REMOW will premiere on October 2, 2026. The role places him among the Momotaro Agency staff at the Kegon Falls facility, alongside Yuki Kaji as the branch laboratory's 10th Unit Captain, Hizumi Momotsugi, and Kisho Taniyama as its 3rd Unit Vice-Captain, Senritsu Momoo. Ato Nonaka directs at Studio Hibari, with Yukie Sugawara on series composition.

The two stories establish a clear shift from uncertainty to scheduled work, and they differ in scope. The June story is about Suzumura's own condition and the pace of his return. The September story is about the shape of one production: a split-cours arc with recap episodes for the Kyoto arc on September 30 and the Nerima arc on October 1, a second cour set for April 2027, and theme songs by Hiromitsu Kitayama and TRACK15. Only the September story names him as a cast member of a specific series; the June story lists projects without roles or premiere dates.
