Suikoden Anime Debuts October 3 with Kōji Nakamura Ending Song
Konami's Suikoden: The Anime, an adaptation of Suikoden II, will premiere on October 3, 2026. The first episode runs 60 minutes and airs on Tokyo MX at 11:30 p.m. local time, with broadcasts following on Kansai TV, BS Asahi, and 32 other stations nationwide between October 6 and October 9. The third promotional video, released on September 17, previews the ending theme 'closed eye sun' by Kōji Nakamura, featuring Honoka Takahashi of Legal Lily as guest vocalist and lyricist. The video also previews the opening theme 'Kanashimi Sae Otonabite' by amazarashi. The song will be available for streaming from October 4, with pre-add and pre-save open since September 18. Kōji Nakamura also composed the anime's background music, while Go Hiyama joins him on arrangement.
