Konami Digital Entertainment will release Silent Hill: Townfall on September 24 for PlayStation 5 and PC, priced at 7,480 yen for the standard edition and 8,580 yen for the deluxe version. The psychological horror spin-off is developed by Scotland-based Screen Burn Interactive and runs entirely in first person, a departure from the series' usual third-person view. Protagonist Simon washes ashore on the fog-covered island of Saint Amelia with a hospital wristband and an IV tube in his arm, guided by a voice named Richard telling him to set things right. A pocket television called the CRTV replaces the series radio, tuning into signals to reveal creature silhouettes through walls and carry messages from a nurse named Zoe. Several review outlets played the retail PlayStation 5 version ahead of release, describing stealth-focused exploration, limited weapons with durability, and a second player-controlled character in Zoe whose clinic episodes unfold earlier than Simon's story.

Konami Digital Entertainment announced during its Suikoden Live at TGS 2026.9.20 stream on September 20 that Chapter 3 of Suikoden STAR LEAP arrives September 24. The update adds Shampia, a land isolated from the outside world, and Rokkaku no Sato, presented in the trailer as a village players can walk around. Rachana, a compassionate assistant instructor at Shampia's Senrein Temple, arrives with companions Bubu, Tsubaki, Vaval, and Tenryu; Kasumi and Sasuke return from Rokkaku Village. A login bonus from September 24 to October 8 gives 1,500 Gensou Stones over seven cumulative days. Konami also confirmed development of overseas and Steam versions, with the Steam release planned to support gamepad and controller play. An anime collaboration event is planned for late November, and a login bonus starting September 30 awards SSR Nanami. Suikoden STAR LEAP launched official service on August 7, 2026.

Konami Digital Entertainment brought Yu-Gi-Oh! TAG FORCE GX to Tokyo Game Show 2026 with playable demo stations, confirming a February 16, 2027 release for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The title is a remake of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters GX Tag Force 3, released for PSP in 2008, and adds roughly 200 cards for a total of about 3,900, retaining the era's card pool and rules rather than modern Yu-Gi-Oh. Over 100 characters appear, and players spend the final year at Duel Academia raising trust with a partner through duels and minigames. Demo partners include Chazz Princeton and Blair Flannigan, who uses a Lightsworn deck. Map movement moved from 2D to SD-sized 3D, duel models were rebuilt in full 3D at 60FPS, and minigames including fishing and card quizzes return. Director Yuji Matsumura said the project began around Yu-Gi-Oh! GX's 20th anniversary, and that a compilation of the three Tag Force titles was considered before settling on the third as the base.

Konami Digital Entertainment announced a remake of the 2008 PSP title Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters GX Tag Force 3 during the Nintendo Direct 2026.9.9 broadcast on September 9. The new game, Yu-Gi-Oh! TAG FORCE GX, is scheduled for release on February 16, 2027, for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch. Based on the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX anime, the remake brings back the original premise in which the player, a student at Duel Academia, is asked by the chancellor to take part in a Tag Duel at the graduation ceremony. Players talk with classmates who are also facing graduation, find a partner, and aim for the top in tag duels. The remake features more than 100 characters, with fully voiced duels for all characters. It also supports online battles, and graphics have been upgraded from the original PSP release. Pre-orders are scheduled to begin after the Direct presentation concludes.

Konami Digital Entertainment will give away original mineral water named Gensui at its Gensou Suikoden booth during Tokyo Game Show 2026, which runs from September 17 to 21 at Makuhari Messe. The water shares its name with the series' common abbreviation and is presented as the renowned water of Taiju Village, the home of the protagonist in the upcoming title Gensou Suikoden STAR LEAP, referred to as Gensui SP. Attendees can receive Gensui by following the official Gensou Suikoden and Gensui SP X accounts and reposting the pinned post. Social media reactions quoted by the sources include 'Laughed at Gensui' and 'I want to try it.' The booth will also hand out an instruction manual for Gensui SP containing story information, world maps, and rune details, plus clear stickers featuring chibi characters from the Gensou Suikoden anime, distributed randomly in eight types under the same conditions. Exhibitions will commemorate Gensui SP and the series' 30th anniversary, including a main visual for Gensou Suikoden I newly drawn by Junko Kawano. A live stage event on September 20 from 12:00 to 13:30 will feature producer Rui Naito, Gensui SP producer Shinya Fujimatsu, and director Yoshiki Takeyama.

Konami Digital Entertainment announced on September 9, 2026 that SILENT HILL f and Urban Legend Dissolution Center have entered a collaboration. The centerpiece is a browser-based mini game in which the two protagonists, Hinako Fukami and Azami Fukurai, meet in a strange fog. Hakaba Bunko, the developer of Urban Legend Dissolution Center, produced the game, which is playable on PCs, smartphones, and tablets and supports Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese. The mini game contains no jump scares and depicts the encounter between the two characters who have each faced supernatural threats in their own games.
The collaboration also includes a commemorative illustration by kera, the illustrator responsible for character and creature design in SILENT HILL f, showing two versions of Hinako facing Azami and center chief Wataru Meguriya. A Steam bundle lets buyers purchase both games at 10 percent off their regular prices. A sale covering SILENT HILL series titles is also running on Steam, PlayStation Store, and Epic Games Store.

Konami announced Rhapsody in Scarlet, a new action game set in 1920s New York, during Sony's State of Play livestream on September 3. The story follows Ellie Myers, a young magus who arrives in New York to pursue a career as a jazz singer and is caught up in an incident tied to a mysterious mafia organization. She meets Ilya, leader of the Seekers, an elite organization of magi, and the two investigate the mafia's schemes while uncovering a battle that threatens the balance of the world. Trailer footage showed Ellie using electricity, fire, and water magic alongside monster companions in fights against giant summon beasts across a stylish metropolis. The game is being developed with Unreal Engine. Cherami Leigh voices Ellie Myers and Hannah Grace voices Ilya Jones. SOIL&"PIMP"SESSIONS perform the theme song "Cool/Hot feat. Emi Meyer." Konami plans to release the game on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Some coverage described the game as in development for PS5, and Konami promised further details during the State of Play Japan broadcast and its KONAMI PRESS START event on September 4.

Konami Digital Entertainment releases Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol.2 on August 27 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, priced at 6,600 yen. The collection includes Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, originally released on PS3 in 2008, and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD Edition, originally on PSP. Metal Gear Ghost Babel, a Game Boy Color title from 2000, is included as a bonus for bundle buyers. Konami Digital Entertainment announced on June 22 the platform and regional release order for Genso Suikoden Star Leap, a new free-to-play RPG in the Suikoden series. The game will launch first on iOS and Android in Japan, followed by a worldwide iOS and Android release, and finally a Steam release worldwide. The title is a canonical prequel set in Solar Year 453, four years before the original 1995 game, and follows a new protagonist and the 108 Stars. New companions can be obtained for free, with additional characters from past titles appearing through gacha and events. The staggered release order was chosen to ensure stable gameplay tailored to each region and device, according to the official announcement. Development is in its final stages, and the team is working to announce a release date soon. The game is the first mobile entry in the series and the first free-to-play title in the franchise.
