Kuji Furumiya's return to the Unnamed Memory world in print is closing out on a single date. The Unnamed Memory -after the end- sequel light novel series concludes with its eighth volume on December 17, 2026. Kadokawa will publish the seventh volume on November 17. The original Unnamed Memory novels inspired a two-season television anime.
The ending of the sequel series is not the only Unnamed Memory release in December. Kadokawa Store has opened preorders for Unnamed Memory Archives -chibi art works-, an A4 art book collecting illustrations by chibi, the illustrator of the Unnamed Memory novels. That volume is 128 pages and priced at 5,500 yen with tax, shipping December 17.
The art book carries new prose rather than only reprinted art. It includes newly drawn illustrations and a new short story by Furumiya. Purchasers also receive a postcard with a newly written short story by Furumiya. The two December items arrive three months after the preorder period opened in September and close the same day.
