The Unnamed Memory -after the end- sequel light novel series ends with its eighth volume on December 17, 2026, the same day Kadokawa ships the art book Unnamed Memory Archives -chibi art works-. Preorders are open for the art book through Kadokawa Store.
The Unnamed Memory story in print is closing out on December 17, 2026. The sequel novel series Unnamed Memory -after the end- by Kuji Furumiya concludes with its eighth volume that day. The seventh volume arrives earlier, on November 17, published by Kadokawa. The sequel series had run since 2022.
The same December 17 date carries a second release. Kadokawa Store has opened preorders for Unnamed Memory Archives -chibi art works-, an A4 art book collecting illustrations by chibi, the illustrator of the Unnamed Memory novels. The 128-page volume is priced at 5,500 yen with tax. It includes newly drawn illustrations and a new short story by Furumiya. Purchasers also receive a postcard with a newly written short story by the author.
Both stories describe the art book as tied to the storefront. Preorders run through Kadokawa Store, and the postcard bonus comes with purchase there. The original Unnamed Memory novels, separate from the sequel series, inspired a two-season television anime.
Coverage to date pairs the end of the sequel series with the art book, so the final picture is a shared December 17 release date for the eighth volume and the art book, and a November 17 date for the seventh volume.
