Grove Street Games launched the early access version of BeastLink on Steam on August 18, 2026. The multiplayer action game supports up to 32 players in destructible cities where humans, vehicles, and giant kaiju clash. Players can fight as infantry with firearms, board vehicles such as cars, helicopters, tanks, and aircraft, or collect serum to link with dormant kaiju and control them. Each kaiju has unique abilities and fighting styles, including aerial and close-combat types. The game features a proprietary destruction system called Super Destruction, which allows players to collapse skyscrapers and destroy hundreds of thousands of objects per map. Four play modes are available: Convergence, Story Mode, Playground, and Battle Arena. The early access version includes 3 maps, 4 types of Beasts, and dozens of weapons and vehicles. The full release is planned for around summer 2027, with 12 maps and 8 Beasts. The game is also in development for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

HONEY∞PARADE GAMES announced Shinobi NEXUS -Senran Kagura- on July 31, a new entry in the Senran Kagura series for iOS, Android, and PC. The game is set three years after Shinobi Master Senran Kagura NEW LINK and follows new shinobi girls designed by series illustrator Minami Yaegashi. It combines a command RPG with ninja arts in what the developer calls hyper shinobi battles, rendered in cel-look 3D. The usual dress-up, communication, and diorama features return in a mashed-up form. Pre-registration opened the same day on the App Store and DMM GAMES, with Google Play scheduled to start soon. A DMM GAMES campaign offers a total of 300,000 yen worth of DMM points via lottery, tied to a click-based mini-game about training shinobi girls. The announcement came during the HONEY∞PARADE GAMES Special Program 2026! 81 Day Special! stream. The official website, X account, and YouTube channel are now live, and a title announcement PV has been released. The game is scheduled for distribution within 2026.
Grove Street Games, the studio behind the GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition and ARK: Survival Ascended console ports, announced that its original multiplayer game BeastLink will enter early access on Steam on August 18, 2026. The game is a PvPvE title supporting up to 32 players in matches where humans use modern weapons, vehicles, and teamwork to fight giant monsters called Beasts. Players can also collect a serum on the map to link with a dormant Beast and control it, turning the tide against other players or monsters. The early access build includes four Beasts (horned lizard, mandrill, bull shark, and vampire bat), three maps, dozens of weapons, a tutorial, and some single-player missions. Two multiplayer modes are available at launch: Convergence and Battle Arena. The game uses a proprietary "Super Destruction" system that allows buildings and entire city blocks to be demolished, with hundreds of thousands of destructible objects per map. Full release is planned for summer 2027, at which point the price will increase. The final version is expected to include eight Beasts, twelve maps, and ten co-op story missions. Console versions for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S are also in development.

The Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya franchise will conclude with a new TV anime titled Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya Finale, set to air in 2027. The announcement was made on July 20, 2026, alongside a second key visual drawn by returning character designer Kazuya Hirata. The series is a direct sequel to the 2021 film Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya: Licht - The Nameless Girl. Director Shin Onuma returns, with Ken Takahashi serving as series director. Onuma stated that he proposed a TV series format instead of a theatrical film in order to secure enough runtime to adapt the story to its conclusion. The franchise began as a manga in 2007 and has spawned multiple TV seasons and films. The final arc follows Illya, Miyu, and Chloe facing Darius Ainsworth as the world faces destruction.

Cygames released GRANBLUE FANTASY: Relink - Endless Ragnarok on July 9, 2026, for PC, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch 2. The large-scale expansion for the 2024 action RPG adds a new story, four playable characters (Beatrix, Eustace, Garanza, and Maglifrira), a roguelike single-player mode, a summon system that lets players control primal beasts, and a new difficulty level called CHAOS. The Standard Edition costs 6,930 yen, the Special Edition costs 9,900 yen, and an upgrade kit for original Relink owners costs 3,960 yen. Separate DLC unlock tickets for the characters Fraux and Fediel are also available for 330 yen each. On Steam, the expansion and original Relink together peaked at about 38,000 concurrent players, and the upgrade kit holds a 94% positive rating from 185 reviews. Cygames announced on June 28 that the next major update for Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, version 2.60, will arrive on September 17. The update adds Id, the dragon-powered swordsman from the action RPG Granblue Fantasy: Relink, as a downloadable character. Id is voiced by Kenjiro Tsuda and was an antagonist in Relink, standing in the protagonists' way as the greatest swordsman in the Zega Grande sky realm. The update also includes a new stage, the Einstedt Archipelago, a new universal system for all characters, and battle balance adjustments for multiple fighters.
