Loftia, The Combat-Free Life Sim MMO, Hits Early Access On November 3
Qloud Games announced on September 21, 2026 that the early access version of Loftia will launch on Steam for Windows PC and Mac on November 3, 2026. Loftia is a life sim MMO set on colorful islands floating in the sky, where players build a home, farm, craft, explore, redecorate, and dress up avatars. The game has no combat and no competition. Its design rests on community, sustainability, creativity, and human connection. The large-scale World Project mission has players cooperate on goals drawn from real-world issues such as clean energy, recycling, and ecosystem preservation. An Adventure mode offers party-based action, puzzles, and exploration for players who want dungeon-crawling with companions. Pets include dogs, cats, turtles, and capybaras. Qloud Games is an indie studio based in Sydney, Australia, founded by Michael Su and Martina Qin. About 25,000 people joined an April 2026 closed beta, and the game won Most Anticipated Game by user vote at May's Cozy Game Awards. A release date trailer also went out.
