Marco Kohinata's Akari Wins Prix Ouest-France At Quai Des Bulles
Quai des Bulles awarded the Prix Ouest-France to the French edition of Marco Kohinata's Akari, a one-volume manga that Hero's Inc. released in Japan in 2022. A committee of festival organizers and Ouest-France reporters chose the title by vote. It is the first Japanese work to take the award. The Saint-Malo festival ran October 9 to 11, and ABCD Asia Award 2026 also went to Akari in July.
