The Insipid Prince's Furtive Grab for The Throne Anime Adds Yuki Kuwahara, Masahiko Tanaka
The official website for the television anime adaptation of Tanba and Yuunagi's light novel series The Insipid Prince's Furtive Grab for The Throne announced two new cast members on Monday. Yuki Kuwahara, known for voicing Tohru in Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, will play Christa Lakes Adler. Masahiko Tanaka, who voiced Kyoichi Sudo in Initial D, will play Sebastian. The anime is set to premiere in Japan in July 2026. Yuji Yanase is directing the series at Maho Film, with Kazuyuki Fudeyasu handling series scripts and Kazuko Tadano designing the characters. The previously announced cast includes Yuma Uchida as Arnold Lakes Adler, Kikunosuke Toya as Leonard Lakes Adler, Manaka Iwami as Fine von Kleinert, Maaya Uchida as Elna von Amsberg, Kaede Hondo as Lynfia, Atsushi Tamaru as Eric Lakes Adler, Ryota Takeuchi as Gordon Lakes Adler, Mitsuki Saiga as Zandora Lakes Adler, and Kazuhiko Inoue as Johannes Lakes Adler. The light novel series began on Shosetsuka ni Narou in February 2019, and Kadokawa published the 16th volume in April 2026.
