Mazinger Z remains a steady merchandise line across multiple manufacturers. Bandai Spirits, Good Smile Company, and Kaiyodo all have Mazinger Z or related figures in circulation or on pre-order, and Discotek Media is bringing the original television series to Blu-ray.
Mazinger Z's current activity is split between model kits, action figures, and a disc release of the original anime. The earliest of the five stories, from July 2026, covers MediaOCD's announcement of 29 Blu-ray titles for the Discotek Deep Dives initiative. That July slate includes Mazinger Z parts 1 and 2, alongside Lupin III collections, all five seasons of Symphogear, and a Saint Seiya Classic Movie Collection. The same month, pre-orders opened for Bandai Spirits' Soul of Chogokin GX-105 Mazinger Z Kakumei Shinka figure, a re-release of a 2022 item made for the 50th anniversary of the Mazinger Z TV broadcast, scheduled for December 2026.
In August 2026, Good Smile Company set a January 2027 re-release for its MODEROID Mazinger ZERO plastic model, based on Shin Mazinger ZERO vs Ankoku Daishogun. That kit was originally released in September 2024 and stands about 155mm, with a detachable ZERO Scrander, clear parts for the high heat plate and Scrander, and a face opening gimmick. Reservations ran to September 30. A September 2026 story then reported the same MODEROID kit is back for pre-order at Rakuten Books, listed at 6,758 yen including tax against a reference price of 7,499 yen.
The newest story, from late September 2026, turns to Kaiyodo. Its Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi line adds black and white versions of Mazinger Z and Great Mazinger, sold through its online store on October 3, 2026. Both carry a price of 12,100 yen including tax, are based on prototypes by Katsuhisa Yamaguchi, and come with interchangeable parts and effect pieces covering attacks such as Breast Fire, Rocket Punch, and Thunder Break.
