Blue Lock Season 3 Reveals Neo Egoist League Subtitle and Key Visual
The staff for the Blue Lock television anime announced the third season's title, Blue Lock: Neo Egoist League, along with a key visual featuring Yoichi Isagi and Michael Kaiser. The reveal came on June 9, celebrated as Blue Lock Day in Japan. Individual character visuals for Isagi and Kaiser were also released. The new season will adapt the "New Hero Wars" story arc from the manga. Mamoru Miyano was previously cast as Kaiser at the end of season two. The anime, produced by studio 8bit, first premiered in October 2022 and ran for 24 episodes. The second season, Blue Lock vs. U-20 Japan, aired in October 2024 for 14 episodes. Crunchyroll streams the series in multiple regions. A live-action Blue Lock film is scheduled to open in Japan on August 7, 2026, with Ado providing the theme song. The manga, written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura, launched in August 2018 and won the Best Shōnen Manga award at the 45th Kodansha Manga Awards in 2021.
