Smilegate to Show MIRESI and Dead Account at Tokyo Game Show 2026
Smilegate announced on August 13 that it will exhibit at Tokyo Game Show 2026, held at Makuhari Messe from September 17 to 21. The company will feature two titles at its booth: 'MIRESI: The Unseen Future' and 'Dead Account: Two Blue Flames.' This marks Smilegate's second consecutive year at TGS, following its first booth appearance at TGS 2025. 'MIRESI' is a collection-type RPG developed by CONTROL9, with Smilegate planning to provide the service. The game has drawn attention for art director Kim Hyun-sop (Hyulla), who has a large fanbase. It has been showcased at events since last year's TGS, including AGF and Anime Expo 2026 in July. This will be its second TGS appearance, with plans to show evolved content since its first reveal. 'Dead Account: Two Blue Flames' is a team roguelite game based on the manga 'Dead Account' by Watanabe Shizuka, serialized since 2023. It features character collection and growth, faithfully reproducing the story of protagonist Enjo Aoshi confronting ghosts and 'ghost accounts' from the SNS accounts of the dead. The game is planned for mobile and STOVE (PC), with pre-registration open. Both titles are recruiting partner creators, with 'Dead Account' starting recruitment on August 14 and a lottery for 30 TGS tickets on X. Smilegate also launched a special website for its TGS 2026 exhibition, with stage programs to be announced later.
