Life-Size Unicorn Gundam Statue Gets Final Decoration Before August Exhibition End
The life-size Unicorn Gundam statue at DiverCity Tokyo in Odaiba will receive a special decoration starting June 20, 2026, ahead of its exhibition ending on August 31. The statue, which has been on display since September 2017, will be unveiled as the "RX-0 Unicorn Gundam Ver. TWC FINAL" after mechanical designer Hajime Katoki applies custom decals. The decoration period runs from June 20 to August 31. During that time, a Unicorn Gundam headband distribution campaign will run at the Gundam Cafe Kitchen Car at DiverCity Tokyo Plaza, offering one headband per product purchase. The statue features a transformation mechanism that mimics the "Destroy Mode" from the series. The exhibition concludes approximately nine years after it first went on display on September 24, 2017.
