Hello Kitty from Sanrio is collaborating with Hobonichi Techo 2027, releasing 17 types of planners and stationery items on September 1, 2026 at 11:00 AM. The designs use the popular Hello Kitty Classic style from the 1970s, with poses exclusive to Hobonichi Techo. The Original size (A6) and Cousin size (A5) planner covers feature Kitty playing with or reading her planner, surrounded by ribbons, apples, and her friend Joey. The weeks weekly planner uses a necktie fabric weave to express Hello Kitty's playful poses, such as sitting neatly to read or putting the planner over her face. Other items include protective covers, the upright storage pouch stappo, the flat pen case comodo, clear files, writing boards, stickers, stamps, and sticky notes. Sales channels include the Hobonichi online store, TOBICHI direct-run stores in Tokyo and Kyoto, Loft stores nationwide, Amazon, and Rakuten. Items will also be sold at the Hobonichi Techo Store opening at Gransta Tokyo on September 16. The collaboration marks Hello Kitty's first appearance in the Hobonichi Techo lineup since 2016.
Stormind Games announced on August 18 that Remothered: Red Nun's Legacy, the final chapter in the Remothered trilogy, will launch on October 27. The game is a third-person survival horror title influenced by the Clock Tower series, set in a Sicilian convent where the legend of the Red Nun originated. Players control Susan, whose daughter has gone missing after six girls disappeared in Sicily; she follows a clue from an audio tape to the Ashmann family mansion on Mount Etna. The gameplay involves exploring the mansion, solving puzzles, and using hypnotic abilities such as retrocognition, mirror abilities, and moth control. Players must also hide from and evade terrifying pursuers, striking back at decisive moments. The Red Nun, a recurring monster in the series, reappears. Akira Yamaoka, known for his work on the Silent Hill series, composes the music. The game is scheduled for PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.com, as well as Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, with Japanese display planned. It follows Remothered: Tormented Fathers (2018) and Remothered: Broken Porcelain (2020), and can be enjoyed as a standalone despite concluding the trilogy.

Casio and the Hobonichi MOTHER Project have announced a MOTHER3 20th anniversary G-SHOCK DW-5600. The yellow watch is inspired by the sunflower field from Chapter 6 of the game. Bandai Spirits will release the second Ichiban Kuji lottery for the Super Famicom game Mother 2: Gyiyg Strikes Back on June 6, 2026. The A prize is a room light shaped like Mr. Saturn's house that glows softly. The B prize is a "Really Usable Present Box" modeled after the in-game item. Other prizes include a town souvenir glass mug, a store lunch bag with a receipt sticker, a window name marker, health companion items with hospital and power-up designs, rubber items, and stationery.
