KRAFTON and Neon Giant announced that The Ascent has surpassed 12 million total players in the five years since its 2021 release. A large quality improvement update is planned for November 2026 across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC via Steam, alongside a roadmap for the franchise.
Neon Giant, a small studio of about 20 developers, presented its development technology for the new title 'NO LAW' at Unreal Fest Chicago 2026. The session detailed the high-density open-world city Port Desire, built with Unreal Engine 5, and a system where the environment affects gameplay. The game is in development for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
