Way Of The Hunter 2 Leaves Early Access And Adds PS5 And Xbox Versions
THQ Nordic released Way of the Hunter 2 on September 29, 2026 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. The PC version ended roughly six months in early access, and the console versions arrive alongside it, with a PS5 packaged edition set for November 26. The hunting simulation from Nine Rocks Games takes place across two maps, New Laurentia in North America and the Kilimaya Reserve in Africa, and covers about 30 huntable species, from moose and wapiti to bison, hippos, lions, and Nile crocodiles. Two-player co-op returns, and the full version adds the ability to pet the hunting dogs that track wounded prey, new weather options, a prey-trail highlight toggle, and improved auto-save. Equipment spans more than 10 licensed brands, including Bergara, Bushnell, and Christensen Arms. Prices are 5170 yen on PC and PS5 and 5200 yen on Xbox Series X|S, all tax included. The full-release update also fixes multiplayer and tutorial issues.
