Nivalis Nights

505 Games and developer ION LANDS have moved Nivalis Nights from a long-delayed project to a dated release. The game is a cyberpunk life simulation in which players start with a small eatery, such as a ramen shop, and work toward owning a popular restaurant or a high-end nightclub in the city of Nivalis. Publisher and developer announced a September 30, 2026 release on PC via Steam. The title was previously called Nivalis and had been announced in 2021 before development delays and legal issues, which the developer says are now resolved. An Epic Games Store version is planned for a later date.

Since the date was set on June 30, 2026, the studio has rolled out a steady series of explainer and gameplay videos rather than new release announcements. These videos cover transportation options such as taxis, the metro, and private boats, and daily routines from waking in the protagonist's room to managing staff, sourcing ingredients by fishing or visiting greenhouses, renovating a home, and running a restaurant. One explainer video introduced a relationship system and a serial killer in the city. Another Japanese-subtitled trailer detailed restaurant management and home renovation. The recurring city systems are a realistic weather system, a day-night cycle, and curfews enforced by the security organization CorpSec, with curfew nights allowing sabotage of rival businesses at the risk of consequences. The most recent video followed a single day in Nivalis.

Ahead of the release date, 505 Games and ION LANDS said on September 18 that the Steam wishlist count had passed 1 million. Creative director Marko Dieckmann said he never imagined reaching that number. He noted that the wishlist count for the studio's earlier release Cloudpunk was about 130,000 at launch. The game also includes fishing by boat, chess tournaments against NPCs, home customization, and curfew-night sabotage of rivals.
