Fangamer Japan opened preorders on May 28 for the physical edition of the OFF remake on Nintendo Switch, with a September 3 release date. Two versions are available: a standard package and a Fangamer Japan-exclusive Bad Human Edition. The standard package includes the game, an instruction manual, and a "Memories of the Park" commemorative art card. The Bad Human Edition adds a Batter bobblehead doll, a set of six tarot-style cards in a foil-stamped passport case, and a 16-page prequel comic titled "OF" by original creator Mortis Ghost. OFF is a freeware RPG originally released in 2008 by Mortis Ghost's Belgian team. The remake, which features revamped battles, new areas, and new bosses, launched digitally for PC and Switch in March 2026. The physical edition supports Japanese, English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Portuguese. Select retailers including Animate, Amazon Japan, and others offer store-specific purchase bonuses such as can badges, can magnets, acrylic keychains, bromide prints, and purification stickers.

Chorus Worldwide released Coffee Talk Tokyo on May 21, 2026, for Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and Xbox One. The spin-off moves the coffee shop from Seattle to an alternative 2026 Tokyo where humans, yokai, and gods coexist. Toge Productions, the original developer, now supervises while Chorus handles primary development. The game introduces a barista assistant named Vin and a new cast of regulars.

The Akane-Banashi anime has released a preview for its 8th episode ahead of its May 23, 2026 debut. The series premiered on April 4, 2026, and streams on YouTube and Netflix worldwide. The anime adapts the manga by writer Yuki Suenaga and illustrator Takamasa Moue, which began in 2022 and has 17 volumes. Viz Media publishes the English version. The anime is directed by Ayumu Watanabe, with scripts overseen by Michihiro Tsuchiya. Yu Harima is assistant director, and Kii Tanaka handles character designs and chief animation direction. Production is by ZEXCS. The Japanese cast includes Anna Nagase as Akane Osaki, Takuya Eguchi as Karashi Nerimaya, Rie Takahashi as Hikaru Koragi, and others. Netflix also recently revealed additional English dub cast members for the third episode. The story follows Akane Osaki, a high school student who secretly takes rakugo lessons from her father's former teacher, Shiguma Arakawa, and begins her climb from opening act to headliner.
