Earth Defense Force 6.2 Shows New Mushroom Enemy at Tokyo Game Show
D3 Publisher held an Earth Defense Force 6.2 stage event at Tokyo Game Show 2026 on September 20. Series producer Nobuyuki Okajima appeared with voice actors Kana Yuki and Chinami Hashimoto. Okajima played a mission live and retreated partway through, then cleared it after equipping a freezing-round rocket launcher and an incendiary-round assault rifle through customization. Okajima also showed combat against a newly appearing mushroom-type enemy.
