Otterly Lost Open-World Otter Adventure Launches September 2026
Soulworks Interactive will release Otterly Lost, an open-world adventure game starring Otto, an otter swept from his mountain home by a natural disaster, on September 23, 2026, for PC. The game is set on an island full of mystery, where players explore diverse environments across water, underwater, forests, and caves, including shipwrecks. Otto must complete quests for the island's unique animals, solve puzzles, and uncover the cause of mysterious earthquakes to restore the balance of nature. Players can collect shells and items to strengthen physical abilities and equipment, use tools like stones and light puzzles for exploration, and customize Otto's appearance with hats, clothes, and accessories. A demo version is available on the Steam store page, and the developer states development is in the final stages of polishing, testing, and story adjustments. The release time and time zone have not been announced, so the date may shift in Japan. The game does not support Japanese and is a single-player experience.
