The Ouran High School Host Club TV anime is in its 20th anniversary year, marked by a Bandai Spirits Ichiban Kuji lottery that goes on sale October 24 and a LaLa 50th anniversary crossover PV, while a new illustration by creator Bisco Hatori appears in the LaLa August 2026 issue.
Bisco Hatori returned to Ouran High School Host Club for a LaLa 50th anniversary tie-in. The August 2026 issue of LaLa, which releases on June 24, includes a BIG Acrylic Marker with new art of Haruhi Fujioka and Tamaki Suoh, drawn by Hatori and sized at roughly 4.5 cm square. The September and October issues of LaLa and the September issue of LaLa DX will each include a 50th Anniversary Book with contributions from past LaLa authors.
Hakusensha then released a collaboration PV for the magazine's 50th anniversary. The video pairs Tamaki, voiced by Mamoru Miyano, with Takumi Usui from Maid-sama!, voiced by Nobuhiko Okamoto. The two characters trade lines while introducing anniversary initiatives. A special advertisement using the video is on display at Animate Ikebukuro Main Store in Tokyo.
The TV anime's own 20th anniversary is being handled through merchandise. Bandai Spirits announced an Ichiban Kuji lottery starting October 24, with tickets at 750 yen and an A Prize figure of Haruhi and Tamaki. The full lineup, published later, keeps that two-shot formula at the top but adds a Vase of Beginnings, a Memorial Plate, Chokonokko figures of the seven Host Club members, towels, acrylic stands, a clear file and sticker set, and telop rubber charms. The A Prize figure recreates an anime opening scene on a base carrying the 20th anniversary logo.
Across the four stories, the anniversary runs on two tracks: a magazine celebration that brings Hatori and the cast back for one-off art and a video, and a lottery that spreads the series across a full prize tier list. No new anime production is mentioned in any of the stories.
