Chi Fuyo Action PV Shows P.A. Works Battle Against Phosphor Dragon

On August 12, the production committee for the TV anime 'The Banished Cheat Enchanter Enjoys a Carefree Second Life' released an action PV on the SHOCHIKU anime channel on YouTube. The PV shows protagonist Rain and his party, including Lily, Margaret, and Mirabel, confronting the Phosphor Dragon in an impregnable dungeon. The anime is based on the manga adaptation by Gyoumuyou Mochi of Asa Rokushima's web novel, with character designs by kisui. The manga has sold over 1.5 million copies in total. The anime is directed by Osamu Homma, known for 'Ya Boy Kongming!', with animation production by P.A. Works. The cast includes Daiki Yamashita, Lynn, Yoyoi Aoyama, and Miyu Tomita. Rie Shibata voices the assassin mother, an original character from the manga. The story follows Rain, an enchanter banished from his guild, who uses his ability to grant enhancement points to equipment. The anime begins airing on the TV Tokyo network in October 2026.
