Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson has joined the Payday TV series adaptation as executive producer through his production company G-Unit Film & Television. The project is a co-production with Vice Studios and Starbreeze Entertainment, announced in March 2026. Details on screenwriter, streaming platform, and broadcast timing remain undetermined.
Starbreeze Entertainment released update 3.7 for Payday 3, reworking the 99 Boxes heist with randomized spawns and routes, clarified objectives, and removal of Wi-Fi circles. The update also adds new contracts and fixes. The Steam version is 70% off until July 10, priced at 1,050 yen for the standard edition.
Sidetrack Games, which took over Payday 2 last October, announced a major engine upgrade called Diesel 3.0. The upgrade adds 64-bit support, moves from DirectX 9 to DirectX 11, and reduces the game's file size from 86GB to 32GB. An open beta for Steam users runs from June 30 through the end of July.
