Shigeru Miyamoto declared November 1 Pikmin Day, chosen because three upright Pikmin resemble three 1s. The first Pikmin Day brought minor updates rather than a major announcement: the promise of more Pikmin animated shorts and a look at a Japanese fan who knits her own Pikmin hats. Nintendo also detailed Pikmin 4 + Dandori Academy for Nintendo Switch 2, which will support microphones so players can give Oatchi verbal commands.

Nintendo declared November 1 "Pikmin Day" during a livestream on Saturday and announced a new short movie series titled Hello! Pikmin. The first episode premiered during the stream, and the second episode debuted on Monday. A third episode arrives later this month, after which one new installment will be released every month starting in December. The same stream showed a new demo video for the Dandori Academy mode in the Nintendo Switch 2 edition of Pikmin 4, which launches November 12 alongside the game. A free demo of the Switch 2 edition also launched on Monday. Nintendo further announced a "Secret Caves" feature for Pikmin Bloom, set to launch this winter. Separately, Re-Ment will release a six-type blind box figure collection called Itsumo Soba ni Life with PIKMIN in spring 2027, priced at 1,650 yen.
