Probably Stolen Cyberpunk Pawnshop Sim Announced With Playtest

Publisher tinyBuild and Montreal-based developer Questing Goose Studio announced Probably Stolen - Cyberpunk Pawnshop Simulator on August 4, 2026. The first-person management simulation is set in the lower levels of a massive space station divided by wealth and corruption. Players run a pawnshop and recycle shop, appraising and trading items that range from worn-out gadgets to illegal cyberware and suspicious goods that may be stolen property. Using scanners and tools, players assess condition and authenticity, negotiate prices, and can repair or customize items at a workbench to increase their value. Handling prohibited goods carries risks, including forced searches that may require bribes, and wanted criminals or AI-enhanced humans taken over by self-aware chips may visit the shop. Players can report wanted criminals for a reward or trade with them, while AI humans must be shot on sight. The game includes weekly rent increases, night scavenging, crafting, and the option to contract a security company against thieves. Probably Stolen is planned for PC via Steam with a release within 2026, and Japanese display is supported. A playtest is currently open for registration on the Steam store page.
