Rebellion, the studio behind Sniper Elite and Atomfall, announced during the XBOX @ gamescom Broadcast 2026 Day 1 on August 26, 2026 that its first-person sci-fi action horror game Alien Deathstorm will launch in spring 2027. The release window comes roughly six months after the title was first revealed. In the game, players take on the role of a Combat Engineer, a highly trained emergency response specialist sent to an off-world facility where communications have been lost. The player must explore a devastated alien colony overrun by dangerous creatures and uncover what happened while fighting for survival with various firearms and skills. The broadcast included new gameplay footage with commentary from Rebellion's Design Director Ben Fisher, depicting the player confronting waves of aliens inside a colony collapsing under a catastrophic mega-storm. Alien Deathstorm is set for release on Steam, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, and Xbox Cloud, and will be available on Game Pass Ultimate from day one. The game draws inspiration from an analog-leaning 1980s sci-fi aesthetic.

FREEing is re-releasing its 1/4 scale Madoka Kaname Bunny Ear Ver. figure from Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Rebellion. Reservations are open on Amazon.co.jp at 33,000 yen, with a scheduled release date of December 31, 2026. The figure stands approximately 410mm tall and includes an exclusive base.

Eiko Kano's commentary version of Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Rebellion began streaming exclusively on TVer on August 10 at 7 PM. The four-episode release commemorates the August 28 premiere of Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Walpurgisnacht: Rising. Kano's earlier commentary on the TV edition drew roughly 3.62 million total views.

Tomofumi Ogasawara launched the official crossover manga between Code Geass and Gundam Wing, titled Shin Kidō Senki Gundam W x Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch: Minuet Zero, on Kadokawa's KadoComi platform on Friday. Kōjirō Taniguchi from Sunrise is credited with the scenario.

Kadokawa's Comic Newtype began serializing the crossover manga Minuet Zero on July 10, 2026. The story, set after the Gundam Wing war, sees Britannia overwhelm Mobile Suits with Knightmare Frames. Satoshi Ogasawara draws the manga, with scenario by Hirojiro Taniguchi. The project was announced in December 2025 and commemorates the 30th anniversary of Gundam Wing and the 20th of Code Geass.

MegaHouse is re-releasing its G.E.M. series Zero figure from Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection to mark the franchise's 20th anniversary. The figure includes four faceplates, interchangeable parts, renewed packaging, and setting materials. Pre-orders open June 5, 2026, with a December 2026 release at 22,000 yen.
