Sakuma Daisuke is a Snow Man member with two active anime and film credits: he voices Shinichiro Saotome in Ace of Diamond act II -Second Season-, airing in October, and appeared at the August 20 Tokyo red carpet and completion screening for Matching TRUE LOVE alongside lead actress Tsuchiya Tao.
Sakuma Daisuke's recent coverage runs through two projects. The first is the film Matching TRUE LOVE, where he appeared at the Tokyo red carpet and completion screening on August 20 with lead actress Tsuchiya Tao. There he told a personal anecdote about garlic, describing the smell on his fingertips after cooking as his fateful encounter, which drew a shocked reaction from Tsuchiya, who said she avoids touching garlic directly. The appearance fit the film's matching tour theme and added a light personal moment to the promotional run for the sequel to the 2024 suspense thriller Matching.
The second project is the TV anime Ace of Diamond act II -Second Season-, where Sakuma voices Shinichiro Saotome and is set to co-star with Masayoshi Oishi. The series airs in October. Oishi, who had posted in March 2026 that he wished to work on the same anime as Sakuma, shared on X that his dream came true when the collaboration was confirmed in September 2026.
Across both stories, Sakuma's profile spans anime voice work and film promotion. The Matching TRUE LOVE appearance is dated to the August 20 event, while the Ace of Diamond role arrives with the October broadcast. Coverage links his name to a stated fan desire from Oishi that was met, and to a promotional anecdote that stayed within the film's tour framing.
