The film mentor, directed by Keisuke Yoshida, pairs Hayato Isomura and Seiya Suezawa of Ae! group for the first time. Isomura plays Ryunosuke and Suezawa plays Takumi, childhood friends whose lives changed when a fireworks fire broke out 15 years earlier, opposite Go Ayano as Nonomoto. Isomura described their working relationship as like a little brother, and Suezawa as like an older brother.
Three character PVs for the film mentor, directed by Keisuke Yoshida and starring Hayato Isomura and Seiya Suezawa as co-leads, have been released through the film's official social media. The PVs cover Ryunosuke (Isomura), Takumi (Suezawa), and Nonomoto (Go Ayano). The film opens nationwide on Friday, October 16, following two men who reunite after 15 years with a victim of a fire they caused as boys.
The November issue of Akita Publishing's Champion RED announced that Saint Seiya: Dark Wing, by writer Kenji Saito and artist Nobuyuki Ueda, and the manga Garagarapon by Yousuke Takahashi and Mimori, will both end in the magazine's January 2027 issue on November 19. The eighth Dark Wing volume shipped on December 19; the second Garagarapon volume on January 20.
Yves Schlirf, who founded the French manga publisher Kana in 1996, died on September 13, according to an announcement from Dargaud and Kana on September 14. Born in Brussels, Schlirf opened the comic bookstore Schlirfbook in 1972 and later worked at Dupuis and built Dargaud's Belgian branch. Kana became one of Europe's largest manga publishers, releasing Naruto, Saint Seiya and Monster in French.

The film opens nationwide on October 16.
Akita Publishing's Champion RED announced Wednesday that Masami Kurumada will publish the fourth part of the Saint Seiya Tenkai-hen manga, titled Saint Seiya Tenkai-hen Then IV, in the magazine's February issue on December 18. The series is described as the official sequel to Saint Seiya and Saint Seiya: Next Dimension. Kurumada launched the third part on May 14.
Masami Kurumada, creator of Saint Seiya, announced a lawsuit against a former board director and others from three of his companies, including Kurumada Productions. He seeks 2.8 billion yen in damages over allegedly misappropriated funds between 2018 and 2024. The former director was also his former manager and helped establish the company.
The official website for the live-action Wandance film revealed dance supervisors for each main character and the full list of music artists and song titles used in the film. Runa Miura, KANU, akihic☆彡, KEIN, and SEIYA supervise dance for individual characters, with origami PRODUCTIONS and GuruConnect handling the music. The film opens in Japan on November 27.

The short anime adaptation of Shaoh's fantasy manga I'm Dating a Dark Summoner! has announced its main cast, director Seiya Miyajima, and an October television debut. The story follows a dark summoner and a cleric who unexpectedly become lovers.
