The December issue of Shueisha's Jump SQ. confirmed on Wednesday that the climax of Sho Aimoto's Kemono Jihen manga is imminent. The 25th compiled volume, which shipped on August 4, had already announced that the series will end in the 26th volume. Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the manga in English and released the 22nd volume on October 6. The series took a one-issue break in September following the death of Aimoto's brother in August.

The stage play adaptation of Shō Aimoto's Kemono Jihen manga has revealed its full cast, with Sōshō Tomimoto playing Kabane Kusaka and Shūhei Izumi as Kohachi Inugami. The play, subtitled Tokyo Arc, runs September 17-27 at Theater H in Tokyo, directed by Nobuhiro Mōri with a screenplay by Chong Gwangsong.
