Cygames Backs Shoma Uno and Marin Honda Ice Dance Team
Cygames announced on October 2, 2026 that it is a supporting company for the ice dance team formed by figure skaters Shoma Uno and Marin Honda. The pair, who competed for years in singles figure skating, announced in May that they had formed an ice dance team and would return to competition. Their stated goal is appearing at the 2030 Olympics, and they will begin competing in events from the 2026-2027 season. Cygames said it will back the two skaters' competitive activities. The game company is known for titles including Shadowverse. Uno and Honda both retired from competition before pairing up for ice dance.
