Special Memorize

Special Memorize is Bandai's line for adult collectors and older fans. The two items covered so far come from different ends of that catalog: a functional prop from a 2003 TV anime and a reissued compact from 1989.

The Bubble Pitcher, from Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch, is described as the first title in the line's adult role-play toy series. It is 17 cm of clear plastic, produces bubbles when filled with liquid soap and water and the handle is turned, and costs 4,950 yen. Pre-orders opened on Premium Bandai on June 12, with shipping in December 2026. The item targets older fans of the 2003 anime, and its function is the point: it replicates a bath-scene prop rather than sitting as a display piece.

The second item goes the other direction. Bandai is reissuing the 1989 Polly Pocket compact "BUTTONS' ANIMAL HOSPITAL" under Special Memorize. The set includes the compact body and three dolls, measures about H105 x W90 x D30mm, and is aimed at buyers 15 and up. It costs 5,940 yen including tax, with shipping billed separately. Pre-orders run from 4:00 PM Thursday, October 1, 2026 to 11:00 PM Sunday, November 8, 2026 on Premium Bandai, and delivery is scheduled for March 2027.

What ties the two together is the audience and the sales channel. Both are priced for adult buyers rather than children, and both run their pre-orders through Premium Bandai. The Bubble Pitcher ships first, in December 2026, while the Polly Pocket reissue arrives in March 2027.
