Bandai is reissuing the 1989 Polly Pocket compact "BUTTONS' ANIMAL HOSPITAL" under its Special Memorize line. The set ships with the compact body and three dolls, measures about H105 x W90 x D30mm, and is aimed at buyers 15 and up. It costs 5,940 yen including tax, with shipping billed separately. Pre-orders open at 4:00 PM on Thursday, October 1, 2026 on Premium Bandai and run to 11:00 PM on Sunday, November 8, 2026. Delivery is scheduled for March 2027.
The revived compact keeps the two-hand size and round shape of the original, and opening the lid reveals the ANIMAL HOSPITAL interior laid out inside. Bandai describes the finish as vintage-style, with attention to the details of the period.
The set includes three friend dolls, matching the original release. Target age is 15 and up, and the product page notes it may be sold outside Japan. Bandai adds that sales may close early if the planned quantity is reached, and that specifications can change.
