Omega Phenex Developer Quit His Job To Finish Eight-Year Mecha Shooter
Surume Manju is showing the high-speed mecha shooter OMEGA PHENEX in the SELECTED INDIE 80 area at Tokyo Game Show 2026, which runs September 17 to 21. He told 4Gamer he began the project to learn Unreal Engine at his video production company, has worked on it for about eight years mostly alone, and left that company in August to finish the game ahead of its release next year.
