Sushi Shogi Steam Page Opens With Demo Ahead of March 2027 Launch
Today's Special! opened the Steam page for Sushi Shogi, a variant shogi in which pieces are sushi with prices attached. Capturing an opponent's piece helps the board position, but the capturer pays for the sushi. Win conditions differ by mode: Modern allows taking the opponent's otoro, reaching the far rank, draining their money to zero, or forcing three passes, while Classic only requires taking the otoro. Passing costs a tea fee. A browser version and a Steam demo are available.
