The Dark Knight Gets One-Week IMAX Laser Run in Japan

Grand Cinema Sunshine Ikebukuro will screen Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight in IMAX Laser from August 21 to August 27, a one-week limited engagement. Some scenes will play in IMAX's 1.43:1 aspect ratio, a format available in Japan only at this theater and 109 Cinemas Osaka Expo City. Tickets go on sale with tiered advance windows.

Switch 2 Version of LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Gets September Release Date

Sega announced on June 4 that the Nintendo Switch 2 version of LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will launch on September 18, 2026, priced at 7,678 yen for both physical and digital copies. Pre-orders are open with a The Dark Knight Returns-inspired Batsuit as a bonus. The game is already available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
