The TV anime adaptation of Monsho Sakakibara's light novel is confirmed for a January 2027 premiere after two production updates in 2026. The first two minutes of episode one are streaming.
The TV anime of Monsho Sakakibara's light novel The Reincarnated Elf Left on a Journey to Master His Magic and With His Extra Lifespan Became a Living Legend was first detailed in June 2026, when ASMIK Ace released a teaser video and visual and named the main cast, staff, and a 2027 premiere. Daiki Yamashita and Hana Hishikawa lead as Liese and Minori. Yuki Inaba directs at Studio Palette and handles series scripts.
A second update in September 2026 narrowed the window to January 2027 and put the first two minutes of episode one online. The cast and director carry over from the June announcement, with Studio Palette still the animation studio.
The source material has been running since 2021, when the novel started on Kakuyomu. A manga adaptation runs on Novema and Manga Zegra, and its sixth compiled volume shipped on June 26. The two anime announcements establish the production team and the start of the broadcast; the preview release is the earliest look at the finished footage.
