Sly Cooper Series Influenced Deep-Sea Horror Game 'There's Nothing Down There'
In an interview with Game Spark, developer Tim Trankle discussed his short deep-sea horror game 'There's Nothing Down There', released on PC June 4 for 264 yen. The 30-minute game was influenced by 'Iron Lung' and 'Subnautica', but also unexpectedly by the 'Sly Cooper' series, which inspired its navigation of giant alien machinery. Trankle emphasized designing a horror experience without chase sequences, focusing on an overwhelmingly large enemy.
