Dynamo Amusement will run two VR attractions at City Circuit Tokyo Bay in Odaiba from September 22 to October 4, 2026. "Hobo Hobo Jet Coaster V (FUJIYAMA)" puts riders through Fuji-Q Highland's FUJIYAMA coaster with MX4D motion seats, about four minutes for one to four players. "Cosmo Balloon" is a free-roam balloon ride across world scenery, about eight minutes for one to eight players. Sessions cost 1,000 yen per person.

A new Detective Conan illustration series, Blue Butterfly Forest, gets its own merchandise line, released by YTE Co., Ltd. on November 7, 2026. The lineup covers four characters (Edogawa Conan, Haibara Ai, Amuro Tooru, Kaitou Kid) on acrylic stands at 1,980 yen, choidaka aurora holo can badges at 770 yen, clear files at 550 yen, and hard card cases with a card at 1,210 yen. A wider deformed-illustration group adds eight characters (Edogawa Conan, Kudo Shinichi, Mouri Ran, Kaitou Kid, Haibara Ai, Amuro Tooru, Akai Shuichi, Hagiwara Chihaya) on clear stickers and acrylic bookmarks, both 660 yen and 880 yen, plus a double pocket clear file at 770 yen. Trading items include foil-embossed cards at 550 yen each or 4,400 yen per box, mini acrylic stands at 880 yen each or 7,040 yen per box, and can badges at 495 yen each or 3,960 yen per box. Reservations open September 16 at noon, with AGF2026 YTE booths and other retailers carrying the line.

The staff of the television anime of Yugo Kobayashi's Aoashi manga revealed a new promotional video on Wednesday, previewing the theme songs for the second season and confirming an October 4 premiere on NHK Educational. Japanese rock band 10-FEET performs the opening theme song "Fortress Defense," while singer-songwriter Ai Higuchi performs the ending theme song "Triangle." The second season marks a change in animation studio, with TMS Entertainment taking over from Production I.G, which animated the first season in 2022. Kazuki Yokoyama is replacing Akira Sato as director. Asami Taguchi and Junko Yamanaka join returning character designer Manabu Nakatake, while previous character designers Asuka Yamaguchi, Saki Hasegawa, and Toshie Kawamura are no longer credited. Script supervisor Masahiro Yokotani, sound director Shoji Hata, and composer Masaru Yokoyama all return. The first cour will cover the opening 12 episodes of the season's planned 24-episode run. The manga, which began in January 2015 in Weekly Big Comic Spirits, ended with its 40th volume in August 2025.

At Anime NYC 2026, TMS premiered the English dub of The Million-dollar Pentagram, the first Detective Conan film dubbed by Studio Nano. The dub features Texas-based actors, including Molly Zhang as Conan and Mauricio Ortiz-Segura as Kid the Phantom Thief, alongside returning actors from the original Funimation Case Closed dub. Reviewer Molly Zhang praised the quality and the cast's chemistry.

The Dr. Stone television anime concluded on June 25, 2026, with the final episode of its fourth and final season, Dr. Stone SCIENCE FUTURE. The adaptation, produced by TMS Entertainment, ran for seven years starting in July 2019 and totaled 95 episodes, including the Ryusui special. The final season aired in three split cours from January 2025 to June 2026. Manga creators Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi released illustrations and comments thanking fans. Voice actors Kana Hanazawa and Kohei Amasaki, who voiced the character Why-Man, also shared remarks. A large-scale animation exhibition commemorating the series' conclusion will open in Tokyo in December, featuring original drawings and setting materials. The digipak illustration for the limited-edition Blu-ray and DVD box set of the final season, drawn by character designer Yuko Iwasa, was also revealed. The anime is available on Crunchyroll and Netflix.

Netflix will stream the second half of Baki-Dou: The Invincible Samurai on June 18, 2026. The 12-episode batch (episodes 14-25) drops worldwide on that date. A new visual shows Musashi, Baki Hanma, Kaoru Hanayama, Pickle, and Izo Motobe. Toshiki Hirano directs at TMS Entertainment.

TMS Entertainment confirmed that part 2 of Baki-Dou: The Invincible Samurai will stream on Netflix worldwide on June 18, 2026. The second half consists of 12 episodes released simultaneously. A new visual featuring Musashi, Baki Hanma, Kaoru Hanayama, Pickle, and Izo Motobe accompanied the announcement.
