Takara Tomy will open TOMICA BRAND STORE at I'Park Mall Yongsan in Seoul on August 22, 2026. It is the sixth Asian location and the first in Korea. The store features a diorama of Seoul streets, a TOMICA WALL, and brand- items including a NISSAN GT-R NISMO Special edition.
Takara Tomy's Tomica Premium unlimited line adds two Mini 4WD cars from Bakusou Kyoudai Let's & Go!!: Proto Saber Evolution and Spin Cobra. Reservations are open on Amazon.co.jp. Both are scheduled for release on September 19, 2026, priced at 1,144 yen and 1,430 yen respectively.
The Tomica & Tom television anime shorts, based on Tsumupapa's picture books and Takara Tomy's Tomica die-cast toy line, will premiere a second season on July 5. The season airs weekly within the children's variety program Tomipla World Nori Nori Times!! on TV Tokyo and affiliates, then streams on YouTube. Singer May J. co-wrote and performed the new song.
The TV anime "Tomica and Tom" Season 2 will air weekly from July 5 within the kids' variety program "Tomipura World Norinori Times!!" on the TV Tokyo network. The original song "Kimi no Takaramono" is sung, written, and composed by May J., with additional work by Ryosuke Imai. Four new Tomica toys from the series will launch sequentially from July 18.
