Tomoyo Takayanagi

Tomoyo Takayanagi's three most recent credits are all television anime announced within about a month of each other in late 2026, with roles spread across a zombie action series, a family drama, and a fantasy adaptation. The earliest announcement is #I'm Looking For Zombie, which confirmed an October 3 premiere on TV Asahi's IMAnimation block and 23 affiliated channels, Saturdays at 11:30 p.m. JST. Studio Comet animates, Shinya Une directs, and Takayanagi is listed among the new cast alongside Yoko Hikasa, Makoto Koichi, Aino Shimada, and Kosuke Toriumi.

Two days later, Nia Liston: The Merciless Maiden announced Takayanagi as Neil Liston, the brother of the title character, with Yuki Urushiyama as Lynette Blanc, Neil's maid and guard. The series premieres October 6 on Tokyo MX, BS NTV, and MBS, runs two consecutive cours, and streams on HIDIVE, ABEMA, d Anime Store, and U-NEXT. The announcement also carried the anime's second situation visual.

The most recent addition is My Sword Saint Master Is Too Cute to Live With!, whose teaser lists seven voice actors and sets a January 2027 premiere. Takayanagi plays Meris Eclipse. Ai Kakuma plays Liza Parsandra and Seena Hoshiki plays Eugene Dawson, with Hitomi Ueda as Cordelia Dawson and narrator, Azusa Tsujimori as Erin Toa, Miyu Tomita as Fiona Rosso, and Minami Takahashi as Lumiere Theomere. Masayoshi Nishida directs at Wolfsbane and Lightbox, with Yohei Kashii on series scripts and WWWave's Deregula label producing.

The throughline is a run of supporting and family-adjacent roles across three separate productions rather than a lead. Two of the three shows premiere in October 2026, while the third is set for January 2027. Across the three announcements, only My Sword Saint Master and Nia Liston name a specific character for Takayanagi; the #I'm Looking For Zombie report lists her among new cast without a role.
